Contributions, donations, and gifts to Third Act Initiative are not tax deductible. They support our advocacy and political efforts that help grow our movement and empower us to use our life experience, skills, and resources to build a better tomorrow. Third Act Initiative, Inc is a non-profit, tax-exempt, 501(c)(4) social welfare organization.
Third Actors are well positioned to do work helping elect leaders that will champion our goals of protecting the climate and defending our democracy. In order to engage in electoral work we must fundraise for our 501c4 organization, which cannot yield tax deductions, but is crucial to our efforts to impact the political climate.
Yes! If you would like to make a tax-deductible contribution to Third Act, you can donate via check or wire transfer/ACH. To send a check:

Your contributions through our online form, and to any of our 501c4 work, helps us build grassroots power and execute our issue advocacy campaigns. It allows us the greatest level of flexibility to participate in the most effective ways for each situation.
Our 501c3 (tax deductible) work helps support ongoing education about democracy and climate issues, training workshops, and leadership development.
Eighty percent of our funding goes into supporting our programs.
Our work is possible because of generous gifts from foundations and thousands of our elder activists who support us financially through one-time or ongoing monthly gifts.
