Four teams – Climate and Clean Energy, Democracy and Civic Engagement, Communications, and Member Engagement – and their task forces do the work of the organization. Each team includes task forces that take on certain projects.
When you join the SoCal Working Group, you will begin receiving our weekly meetings reminders that feature the Zoom link for each team meeting that week. We welcome you to attend any and all team meetings to get a feel for which areas of our work you might want to get involved in. If you are interested in a particular task force, please attend a meeting for the team that oversees it, and let the team leader know of your interest. All of the teams welcome your involvement.
The Coordinating Committee meets every other week, as do both the Climate and Clean Energy Team and the Member Engagement Team. The Democracy and Civic Engagement Team meets monthly, as does the Communications Team. You can reach any of the four team leads by emailing us.
