We are concerned elder Georgians driven by a sense of urgency, a commitment to inclusion and justice, and a belief in the power of community
We’re part of Third Act, the growing nationwide movement with more than 70,000 members. As we build momentum in this Deep South swing state, we welcome participation from elders of all backgrounds, skills, and cultures.
We support Third Act’s national agenda to:
- Uplift voting and democracy to keep elections free, fair, and open to all voters
- Influence the Public Service Commissions to strengthen clean energy policies
- Stop big lenders from financing the fossil-fuel industry
Our Georgia state initiatives are to:
- Register new voters, get out the vote, and protect the vote — our top priority in 2024
- Elect state officials who will advocate for effective climate policies
- Protect Georgia’s natural resources that have an impact on climate change, including the Okefenokee Swamp, coastal wetlands, and old-growth forests
