We’re working with Greenlight America, a mobilization hub supporting local and state-based groups across the country, to spread the word about the upcoming Propel NY Energy hearing. It's a unique opportunity to advance clean energy in New York among a series of setbacks from the Trump administration, like the recent halt to the Empire Wind offshore

Propel NY Energy is a transmission project being developed by the New York Power Authority. It involves about 90 miles of new underground power lines to better connect Long Island to the statewide grid and enable interconnection of clean energy.

The New York Public Service Commission is hosting a virtual public hearing allowing community members to make a statement about the project on Tuesday, April 29, at 1:00 pm and 5:30 pm. RSVP to attend and voice your support for a clean, reliable, affordable power grid for the Long Island and New York City area!
