What are the most pressing clean energy issues before our Legislature?
-
Establishing an Integrated Resource Planning (IRP), a process that 33 other states already use. IRPs develop strategic statewide plans that require transparency and accountability in mapping out a clean energy future. Why do we need an IRP? Wisconsin is behind: only 9 percent of our energy comes from renewable sources. This failing will continue unless we address it: WI utilities are rushing to build new, polluting, natural gas plants.
-
Collaborating with WI Conservative Energy Forum to opposing SB3 (in Utilities and Tourism) and AB7 (in Energy and Utilities Cmte)
