Webinar: Taking a Deep Dive into the BLM’s Public Lands Rule

On June 25, 2024, experts from Third Act, Great Old Broads for Wilderness, and The Wilderness Society held this webinar to showcase the Public Lands Rule and its importance, and we seeing continued signs of success.

To demonstrate strong public support, we have been asking that you sign on to an online letter of support to make sure that this rule is implemented properly. This letter will be hand delivered to key Congressional offices in late-July 2024.

What’s next?

We have urged folks to attend to contact their Congressional delegation via phone or recess town hall meetings to urge support for the Rule.  The House has already passed a bill along party lines called the WEST act to overturn it.  There will also be an attempt to use the Congressional Review Act to overturn it.  Both attempts could be defeated in the Senate and/or vetoed by Biden.
