    What are the most pressing clean energy issues before our Legislature?

    • Establishing an Integrated Resource Planning (IRP), a process that 33 other states already use. IRPs develop strategic statewide plans that require transparency and accountability in mapping out a clean energy future. Why do we need an IRP? Wisconsin is behind: only 9 percent of our energy comes from renewable sources. This failing will continue unless we address it: WI utilities are rushing to build new, polluting, natural gas plants.

Its primary purpose is to represent the interests of residential and small business utility customers before regulatory agencies, the legislature, and the courts. They also educate consumers on utility regulation and energy policy.
