Would you like to help? We have several openings for volunteers, including several that may not  require much of your time.

Newsletter Articles and Photos
The Communications team is on the lookout for volunteers to contribute to our quarterly newsletter in any of the following ways:

  • Interviewing a fellow volunteer and writing up a brief profile.
  • Collecting news about climate activism in other states.
  • Writing about one’s own personal climate journey.
  • Taking photographs at Third Act events.
  • Summarizing what’s happening at Third Act Central.

Uplift Democracy & Voting Campaign Co-liaison

Graphic Designer
Join the TAWA communications team and contribute to the creation of our newsletter. Previous experience in newsletter layout or graphic design is advantageous, in particular, familiarity with MailChimp or similar newsletter platforms. Move Your Money Coaches
Third Act and THIS! Is What We Did are working together to build up local working group capacity to provide support and education to people who want to move their money from climate-bad banks. Training and tools for this role will be provided in early 2024 by THIS!. Webmaster for Divest Washington
Support web communications for our coalition to advocate for legislation to phase out public pension fossil fuel investments. TAWA partners with Divest Washington in this effort. You don’t have to be a highly skilled web developer to help us keep this WordPress website up to date – you can learn on the job!
