Support a Fossil Free 529 Scholar Share Savings Plan: SIgn the Petition

Join our amazing partner, Fossil Free California, in advocating for Fossil Free 529 college savings options as we continue our fight to protect the planet from fossil fuels! College savings funds should be used to secure a student’s future, rather than put it at risk by funding the destructive fossil fuel industry.  Concerned community members and working parents are advocating for fossil free 529 ScholarShare options in order to responsibly invest their children’s (and grandchildren’s) savings funds rather than investing in an industry that is a threat to the next generations.   As we continue to campaign for CalPERS and CalSTRS divestment of fossil fuels, we are excited to expand into this new area to stop the financing of fossil fuels.
